TAGBENT LLP mines and processes bentonite clays as well as sells bentonite-based products. The raw material base of the company is a unique high-quality Tagansky deposit of bentonite clays located in East Kazakhstan.

The unique Tagansky bentonite and existing technologies ensure production of high value added products including for the most demanding applications. The state of the art equipment makes it possible to regulate the moisture content of bentonite powder in a wide range from 1 to 12%, with a fineness of less than 71 microns (more than 90%).

TAGBENT LLP produces bentonite-based products for the following applications:

– in the oil and gas industry for drilling fluids, including HDD;
– in the foundry for molding sands;
– in construction, including civil and   hydraulic engineering;
– in the nuclear industry for the conservation, storage and disposal of radioactive waste;

– in agriculture and winemaking.

We are also developing the production of organophilic bentonite (organoclay).
